Safeguarding the human rights of vulnerable people

Equal Voice supports and nurtures Citizen Advocacy partnerships across Central Fife. We come to you and meet in a public place. We train Volunteers to become Citizens Advocates. We match the Advocate with a vulnerable person (Advocacy Partner) aged 16 – 65 who needs support speaking up for themselves. When a volunteer and a vulnerable person are matched this becomes an Advocacy Partnership with the Advocate partner being at the core of the partnership. We provide Advocacy for residents in Central Fife who have a learning disability, physical disability, a mental health difficulty or chronic illness to live a more fulfilling life and help safeguard their rights. Our Advocates can provide Long Term Advocacy and in some instances Short Term Advocacy

Our Advocates help people feel less isolated, build confidence and support decision making.
